Like it or not, Call of Duty is going to have a subscription service attached to it sooner than we might think.

Activision has talked about adding a subscription service to its Call of Duty franchise in the past, but now CEO Bobby Kotick is itching to make it happen soon. How soon? Tomorrow, if possible.

Bobby Nodick, commit suicide. Please. Heck, I'll even supply all the materials needed! Just do the gaming world a favour and **** ******** ****** *** ****** :mad:

Now I've got that out of my system; I don't think Mr. Nodick meant we'd have this happen anytime soon, merely that because he's a greedy mother ducker this would be his perfect scenario.

Sorry Bobby, but it's not gonna happen. Enough people are sick of CoD as it is, this really would push it over the edge.

//RANT OVER.

He's considering it and it's quite good, imagine the constant update and support the title would get as well as additional challenges and titles updates and a lot of features that MMO's have.

this is probably the dumbest thing i ever heard Activision really knows how to ruin a game so that no one would even consider buying it its bad enough a map pack is 15$ and that im paying 50$ a year for live there would be no way im paying on top of that to play 1 game not to mention it just sounds retarted

Who dares, wins.
This wont happen, People wont pay more money than they are paying at the moment.

£20 (Maps) + £40 (Game) + £40 (Xbox Live) = £100 already.

How is this in any way, shape or form a good idea? This is ****ing atrocious, the developers can update the game no matter what and this $15 a month bullshit is just lining their pockets further.

How does monthly updates and new maps, titles, emblems and challenges sound? these all would be possible if the game was subscription based and most customers would pay.

It's possible now... wtf.. they're just too lazy and money-hungry to actually provide the updates. It's obvious, it seems the only updates the developers even make to MW2 is when the community bitches extensively or for a DLC.
