These are used for PCs and will expel air to the back of the PS3 just like the normal fans, i bought one and have noticed increased cooling and a quieter XBox. They add a good look the the xbox and won't add any extra room on the side of your xbox. Just place your xbox on top of the cooler like a laptop and it works. They are cheap and easy to find. *make sure the one you get is USB 2.0 plug powered*

you should just get the new intercooler TS cause it now has its on AC adapter, so it wont break your xbox 360 anymore.
