Okay i'm gonna teach you how to connect to Xbox Live using only a PC/Mac.

Requirements

1. A ethernet cable
2. A PC/Mac
3. Internet connection


For PC:
1. Click active connections in the bottom left hand corner.
2. Go to network and sharing center.
3. Click "Manage Network Connections" on the left.
4. Right click on your internet connection and click properties.
5. Click sharing and check both boxes.
6. Thats it. Make sure everything is plugged in.


For Mac:
1. Click on system preferences.
2. Click the sharing folder.
3. Click "Internet sharing" and share your connection from "airport" and to computer using "ethernet"
4. After you do that, turn on your Xbox and go to system settings and go to network settings and go to configure network.
5. Click IP address and set to manual.


Current IP Address is 192.168.2.2
Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0
Gateway is 192.168.1.2
Now click done.


6. Go to DNS settings and set it to manual.

Primary DNS setting is 68.105.28.11
Secondary DNS setting is 68.105.29.11


Now just restart your Xbox and connect to Live! Please press that thanks button if I helped Happy

Do a barrel roll!
you need a cross over cable, and you need to bridge your connection together like, bridge your wireless connection with your cross over cable, been using this trick for a year now.
