The PlayStation 3's slogan might be "It Does Everything," but after witnessing something this morning, I put this question to Sony... Can it do boat peripherals? Eh? Can it!? No! Didn't think so!

In what is either an amusing practical joke or a terrible waste of oxygen, Atomic Accessories, a third party accessories company, are listing a boat peripheral for Kinect, called the "Game Boat" - sheesh, real original!

The Game Boat, according to the listing, is a "real-size replica of Kinect Adventures's awesome dinghy" - woah! "Awesome" is a little bit forward don't you think!? - that allows gamers to play simultaneously and is "de facto the first accessory for the peripheral which doesn't need any." Ha, way to sell it!

The 150 x 150 cm dinghy is the "first product in the Play On line-up" - oh shit, there's more!? - and is easily inflated in a few minutes with a pump, that's included. Here's the real kicker... the Game Boat can even be used in the "watyr" - their typo, not ours - by children and adults.

In other news, we're thinking of marketing our latest peripheral range of sports cars and yachts for Kinect... although you'd need a pretty big living room to make those work.

I do not think that is possible to happen. If a kid were to jump on a small inflatable the most air they'd catch is a millimeter off the ground, if they are lucky.
