Possibly only works in the US.

To get started you need to download and install the "Bing Bar," a toolbar add-on for Internet Explorer. The bar will allow you to keep track of how many credits you earn as well as visit the redemption center to cash them in for prizes. You earn credits two different ways. The first is by completing searches using Bing. You will earn one credit for every five Bing searches (up to twenty credits per day). The second method is by completing offers. For example, you can earn a bonus six credits by conducting a specific search that they ask you to do, like looking up a Halloween recipe. Maxing out your daily credits is easy and fast. It should take no more than fifteen to twenty minutes per day and is definitely worth it for Xbox 360 users looking for free Microsoft Points.

While there are tons of prizes ranging from books to electronics, the Microsoft Points are the cheapest option. You can redeem 100 Bing credits for 100 Microsoft Points. The best part? You get 250 Bing credits just for signing up which means all you have to do is download and install the Bing bar and you can immediately cash in for 200 Microsoft Points. If you don't like the program, you can quit right then and there and leave with your 200 free MSP.

As with all Microsoft Points that you earn through a promotion, these ones have an expiration date attached so be sure to find a use for them before June 30, 2011.

The Bing Rewards Preview program, which began only last month, ends on September 30, 2011. Credits accumulated expire December 31, 2011.
