(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); About 2 months ago i started getting disk read errors on my xbox 360. Now the games dont play at all. Ive tried everything except changing that spiral looking piece. I have another xbox 360, but it is on an xbox that has not been updated to the new dashboard. I put it in my current xbox and it treats every game that i put in as a dvd. Do i need to flash this drive for it to work with the current dashboard?..

i really need help with this, please do not spam this thread

THANKS

Crumpets and tea?
Its the xbox in general. Its ready to die for good.

This happened to me and the only solution is a new box.

im hoping that this isnt the case.. this is my 4th xbox.

I have 2 xbox 360's right now though. With this one the tray is the only issue.. so i wanted to switch drives.. Ive been reading up on it all day..lol. I found out that the drive from the xbox that i dont use wouldnt play new games.. but old ones work. I have to reflash it to the most current firmware and it will begin to read disks.. hopefully..lol

Well when it happened to me I only had 1 xbox and it was really old. So I just bough a new slim. The old one still works but I use it as a back up now.
