I have a external hdd and i used it to install black ops to it. My xbox tipped over and it scatched the disk after i installed it. I now went out and bought a 30$ 250gb hdd , hacked it and installed it into my 4gb xbox. Now i need to transfer the game to the hdd inside the xbox. I get a gay ass error saying i cant transfer it between storage devices... Can someone help me asap i dont want to do it the hard way....

doesnt work... doesnt want to transfer games between storage devices, even the way u said it doesnt work... the only other idea i have is plug the hdd and use modio to transfer the game

What are you trying to transfer, maybe its locked?

Thats your problem.....HDD is not by MS so it wont transfer cause the xbox dont recognize it as a MS product. That is my guess, im not saying im right. Try installing a game on the the 250gb and see if you can transfer it to the external HDD. If it gives you the same error then thats your problem.

So you might have to do it the hard way. Transfer the game from the external HDD onto your PC then transfer it to the 250gb

If your hacking your xbox you are going to have problems like this.
