Shocking news today, as HomeFront sales for the xbox and Ps3 have been released : In the uk, nearly three quarters bought it for Xbox.

Ps3 had sold a minor 26 percent of the copies of home front, were as xbox sold the mass amount of 70 percent! Leaving Pc with an embarrassing 4 percent. (This is according to chart track)(How ever, they do not count the steam / online franchise sold)

Original Speech: Nearly three-quarters of UK opening-weekend Homefront sales were made on Xbox 360.

A titanic 70 per cent of copies were sold for Xbox 360, leaving 26 per cent for PS3 and four per cent for PC, according to Chart-Track (a company that doesn't include sales for digital services like Steam).

Homefront entered the UK all-formats chart today at number one, recording the biggest home console launch of the year, beating out Dragon Age II and Dead Space 2.

But why were the results so skewed? Because Microsoft has treated Homefront like royalty; heavily marketing the game due to an Xbox 360 downloadable content exclusivity deal.

Homefront's UK success follows a thunderous US launch, where THQ's big-budget shooter sold 375,000 copies in just one day. To put that into perspective, Ninja Theory's Enslaved - a game favoured by critics - failed to break 500,000 lifetime sales.

Homefront scraped 6/10 on Eurogamer - a short campaign being recitified somewhat by the impressive multiplayer segment.

Eurogamer's Digital Foundry assessed all three versions - PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 - in an effort to tell you which is best.

Nice man. This just shows, How sony has chosen to treat its customers, has resulted in PIRACY being at an all time high for the ps3, as you see here that has been proved.

Believe it or not, Xbox is just a big a culprit as Ps3, but with the hype and Piracy becoming increasingly easy on ps3, i believe sony is deteriorating. And sony could easily of had an exclusive, but there just greedy and Microsoft has an allot more money than them.

There are probably 3 times as many more xbox users than ps3. Ever gone to buy CoD on release? Theres loads more.
There is hardly any of us PS3 users that know good games.
And whats with all the, oh yeah theres loads of piracy on PS3. I'd say about 4% of Playstation Consoles have CFW or anything of the sort to even pirate games. And probably 3% of jtagged xbox consoles. So I'd say there is more piracy on the xbox than playstation (many more people with an xbox than playstation).

This all depends which country You are talking about. In France Ps3 outsold Xbox by 0.7 million consoles. Think about that one.
