Post: Xbox Slim hdd help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); K well im getting my new slim in 2 days. And its the 4gb but my friend has a 60gb old hdd. Now i seen u can transfer ur stuff over with the cable which i have 2 of. Can i just connect it and use it like a usb external? any help appreciated +63 for helpers!

no i dont think its that simple lol maybe it would work but im going to bet no because the slims harddrives are diferent from the old 360's so i think it will not work but you can try

well u can take the hdd out of its casing and put it in. but its really loose and not tight. so yea idk if it will work :/ worth a try tho

yea if its loose then it will probly not work now if you you have a way of getting all the things off the hard drive like on to your comp then you could put it in the other one from that way in reverse

I don't think you can use it as an external drive. But if you need storage you could just use a flash drive and format it for the Xbox.

If it's USB connected it should work But you will have format it to xboxs format in settings menu
