As reported around the internet yesterday, an apparent phishing scam issue caused an alert to appear on the Xbox LIVE Status page reading:

Whilst the true nature of the warning was not known, Microsoft has today confirmed that the warning was not indicative of any other Xbox LIVE vulnerabilities.
The comments come in wake of the constant PSN hacking issues Sony has been facing over the past week, with news the last two days that millions of credit card and personal details had been leaked.
“We are working to resolve this”, read the official statement “Phishing is an unfortunate and common threat on the Internet, and this problem is not related to the Xbox Live service.”
