That's why I bought a wireless one :/

If anything connecting it directly will make it bette, and if it is directly plugged in you get open NAT no matter what.

I know, but... it's actually worse with an ethernet cable :/

Log on to your router and see if it has a DMZ mode it will be in a sub menu somewhere, this is what i did when my router game me a stict connection

Make sure you have a cat 5 eathernet cable. I had some other eathernet cable, and it was total shit connection. With cat 5 my connection is REALLY good.

Reset your router. Look in the back of your router, there should be a button that says reset that you have to stick a paper clip into to push it. Push and hold that button for 3-5 seconds and it should turn your router off then on which resets it. This should fix any internet problems you may have. I had a strict NAT type and couldn't play online with my brother so I reset my router and it fixed it
