1. Microsoft is very sensitive and bans people easily.
2. Xbox 360 slim is louder than ps3 slim.
3. Graphics on Ps3 are better
4. Xbox 360 is not as durable and will get RROD

So I am also thinking about getting another ps3 but these flaws he told me about scare me so can any of you guys tell me if this is true if not tell me why?

Xbox is ftw, except for those, and it's a shitload a money for shit.

Remember you have to pay to go online and you have to pay to buy things from xbox market place with the ps3 you just pay (your choice ) if you want to buy things online OR not , for the multiplayer ,thats free. Plus you have a option of making lots of accounts

Ps3 may seem more expensive but in the long run its cheaper

Again, a lie. Both systems are very outdated graphically(compared to PCs), and there's only a miniscule difference between system-exclusives.

Both systems have an enormous list of flaws, problem is you've only heard 1 side of the story from your fanboy of a friend.

I'd recommend an XBOX purely for XBL, but that's just me. It's really just a matter of whether you're willing to drop 50$/year for the premiums of XBL.

The xbox 360 slim is a great console, and contrary to beliefs doesn't get the RROD hat was for the old consoles, also the PS3 too can get the YLOD. When buying the Xbox 360, just make sure you go for the slim

xbox dashboard is far better and party chat graphics on xbox are slighlt better but xbox online lags alot compaired to ps3

so if its FPS shooters your looking into ps3 surpasses xbox due to the permanent lag on xbox

I don't have an xbox, but had some experience with it, firstly the xbox slims fan is not that loud compared to the normal xbox (as long as you don't put it were its very dusty/not well ventilated it should sound normal) xbox's do have a tendency to cook it self, but u can just put a fan behind it or like i said before put it in a well ventilated area. The graphics on the ps3 are slightly better, but you can barely tell the difference, there are much more noobs/ 13 and under people, so be advised that, also you'll get a ton of more flame from really anyone from xbl than on ps3. but the xbox live experience is much better than the ps3, less lag, less downtime/maintenance, and the dashboard updates are quick and easy. Hope you choose the one that fits you :y:

Microsoft is very sensitive, so much that you can't even have STFU of FUKU as your clan tag in MW2.

The 360 Slim may be quieter but its loudass power supply and DVD drive makes that argument obsolete.

PS3 has better sound quality, noticeable when you have a 5.1/7.1 surround sound.

Graphics are better on PS3 because blu ray can hold larger graphic files and has the 7 core CPU.

Out of the box a PS3 wins hands down and for me in the UK, XBL has a huge problem with the fastest broadband here, Virgin Media and its Superhub.
Stick with the PS3 unless you're a massive Gears Of War fan.
