Have you plugged your mini headphone cable in to the controler that your get with the PX21's if you dont plug that in your friends sound rubish and they cant hear you

yes you should have gotten a small wire with the head set, plug it in to the small control box where it says xbox then plug the other end into your controller

Go on prefences and change your voice options.

Like the above posts said; make sure the chat cable is plugged into the front of your xbox controller and into your headset. Also check that your voice settings in preferences are on play through headset. Maybe even try a different controller if the first two things don't work?

Did you just buy the headset or have you had it for a while?
