(50x spaces i.e. press space 50 times) Playing Modern Warfare 3 Beta or whatever you want it to say

Step 3: Set your online status to away! (press middle button, go across to settings, then preferences, then online status, then away)
Done! now when people view your account it says playing MW3 Beta

So to recap its:
No motto, go to change your name in edit account and hit space 50 times then type Playing Modern Warfare 3 Beta (or whatever you want) then set status to away

Try heading over to xbox.com if having trouble doing it on the 360
