So do i have to another set of HD Component cables made for the Slim? Is there someway around this?

And if i do have to shell out $20-$30 bucks for component HD cables for the slim, do i STILL need an audio cable to get HD sound? All in all im wondering what all i need to make the HD PVR/ Xbox 360 Slim get along.Here is my list so far i think

Don't get an HD PVR, get an Intensity Shuttle. All you need is USB 3.0's. It can do HDMI, or component. But If you don't have any USB 3.0's, just get a component to HDMI splitter type thing.

No shit. But it records in 1080p and can use HDMI or component. You just need a USB 3.0 to power it.

all you need are av splitters they cost like 2 dollars each at radioshack
