i believe you can only use 16gbs it might be more but not much so if you buy say a 500gb drive it would be pretty much a waste unless there is a way to partition the drive to make it work but when you hook the drive to the xbox it will format it to work with the system i would just buy a drive thats been hacked to work for the system since they are way cheaper then what microsoft would charge or buy a western digital drive and hack the drive yourself

Yeah there is a 16gb limit just for that reason, sorry but only JTAGS can run the full extent of w.e drive your using, I have a 1tb one hooked up to my jtag.

not sure but your can use most flash drives
