There's a juicy bit of gossip floating about the internet saying that Master Chief may actually be getting his own feature film. A few years ago, Peter Jackson was going to pick up the torch and run with the current Halo movie script: Halo the Fall of Reach, but the project failed to launch. After this news, it was as if all was lost on the Halo film front, but there still may be hope.

The man to allegedly charge himself with the revival of the Halo film project is Steven Spielberg. A news report indicated that Spielberg was "blown away" by the Halo the Fall of Reach script and is willing to breathe life into the project once again.

There is little word regarding when the movie will be released, but IMDB tells us that it will be out in 2012. Whether this is an updated date based on this news isn't disclosed. Frankly, there is nothing certain as of yet, but regarding the Halo movie project any news is good news. In any case, who doesn't get chills down his or her spine when they think about sitting in a dark theater and watching the first few minutes of Halo the Fall of the Reach? We can only pray that Spielberg will have the gusto to take on such a monumental project.

I personally think if it's made right it could be good but I've only played Halo once lol.
