In a recent interview with Michael Wolf, XBLA's global marketing manager, said that he feels that
the service will eventually be taken down. Wolf states that this will be due to the increasingly blurred line
of large-scale retail games and XBLA titles.

Here's what he had to say when asked if the service would be shut down.

"Personally, I'd say absolutely, yes. I think digital distribution has to be like that. I don't think XBLA will be leaving soon. It is an incredible platform. We have XBLA fans, I don't think it's going to be announced anytime soon. One thing Microsoft has proven is that we continue to try and adapt and innovate in experiences."

This simply means that with more full-retail games becoming available digitally, it is more of a strategic move

to not call those large scale games Xbox Live Arcade titles. It just doesn't fit. Also, Microsoft has no plans on
banishing downloadable games. When and even if this phasing out thing happens, it will merely have no greater effect
than that of a name change.

How many digital titles do you usually purchase? Or do you stick to disc versions of a game?
