If you game a lot and play in tournaments the A50's are perfect. But if your just a casual gamer that plays a decent amount of time the A40's are great since they are lighter, smaller, more versatile.

I would get the best of the best! The A50's.

audio quality is the same. i guess its just personal preference. do you want wireless or wired. but everyone knows wired is better but its up to you

Out of those two I would personally say a40's, since the a50's arnt any improvement over the a40s besides wireless. But Siberia v2,ad700, or pc350 with astro mixamp I would recommend over that

It would be the other way around, since they both have same audio quality but you cant use wireless headsets at lan tourney's and so a40 wired would be the better choice.

Audio quality for A40's is amazing. I doubt the A50's have better quality and if so very little. A40's are fine if you really do not need wireless headset. BUT you MUST get a optical cable!

My 2 Tritton mics broke in a month and the regular Xbox mic lasted me 3 perfectly I would get the headset and just a regular Xbox mic to talk through IMO
