Should i get an xbox and i need to know how long they last if your a serious gamer, (how long do they usallty take b4 RROD). i want an xbox but i dont want to be buying a console that gets the RROD right away.

Had mine since January, I know its not long... but some days I'm on it all day and it never overheats. (mines a 60GB)

Personally, Its up to you if you want one, but Microsoft are trying to reduce the RROD seeing as its becoming less-common.

I traded my PS3 for a Xbox 360 and I've never regretted it

i personally go with ps3 for free internet and other things. but i do want an xbox. thing with xbox is paying for internet. lol

yes xbox is a bummer having to pay for live but its got great ass connectionm ps3 imo is over rated xbox ftw it doesnt get rrod if u take care of it but sumtimes it will but i had one a few weeks ago but i just didnt playh for a month and it went away

honestly it doesnt really matter if it gets RROD you have 3yrs of getting it fixed not like ps3 that if you get ylod your beat pay them 150 and hope it doesnt happen agian if you love online and thats all you play just go out and get 360 its so much better online then ps3

btw people make out its a big thing paying for LIVE but its really i had a ps3 the internet browser isnt the best its alrite id say i prefer my xbox much more than my old ps3 i sold it much more funner more people e.t.c

I've had my Xbox Pro for over three years with no problems whatsoever. It does have a lot of miles on it because I run it like a mad man. I wouldn't worry about the RROD. As long as it's not in an enclosed space you'll be just fine.

umm i decidided im going to get an xbox pro. still think ps3 is better. and i know yall are fan boys so your going to get pissed. (im not, im just saying ps3 is better cause i have one) and the chance of RROD is 53.4 percent of the time and ps3 is only 10.4 so maybe if the xbox fails i will sell it for a new ps3

Just get an xbox you wont regret it maybe you have to pay but am sure you can pay 40 pounds a year not a life changing amount of money if you ask me. But yeah 3 year contract now they usually break after a year so you will be covered anyway?

if its going to break in a year thats not great. and then i have to send it in and wait another year till it breaks again. i have had my ps3 since realese day still in good condition just loads slow at times
