In case you're just now turning on your Xbox 360 and wondering what the sudden system update has to offer, it's nothing exciting. Overnight, Microsoft released a system update preparing the system for some of the new features coming to Xbox Live later this year, including <a href=" do newsStory?cId='3174496"'>Facebook, Twitter, and Last.FM integration. It doesn't actually
add any of those new features, nor does it add, well,
anything. This is purely a preparatory update.
You'll have to download the update in order to sign into Xbox Live, just as you do with any system update, so get it downloaded right away so that you can get right back into playing Halo 3:ODST with your friends. The upcoming system update -- the one that you were hoping for, which includes the aforementioned features and more -- is still without a date, but you can expect it to hit before Christmas.
