Im buying both and I expect both of there prices to be somewhere around the $200-300 zone.

Honestly I'm still torn on buying it. I mean the price point for new "nextgen" consoles are hard to really predict. I mean shit when the PS3 came out most places were selling it for $500. But considering times have changed and the economy isn't as strong as it was then I'd most likely bet around $250-$350 for the 720.

But for me to buy it the damn thing better have hardware that is worth something and won't overheat and get the rrod like the original launch model 360s.

I have xbox and ps3 atm. I'll see what my mates do and I'll probably do the same. I reckon if the ps3 was £500 when it was first out then ps4 will be around £650-700 IMO. For the xbox, it'll probably be around £400

How can you make this decision before it's even announced? haha.. For all you know it could be a cardboard box that says ''Xbox 720'' on it... In that case I'm not saying until I know details of it :p

I probs won't because about 85% of my friends are on Playstation.

Depends on what sony is doing with the PS4. If you don't see massive change with PSN no deal sony.
Sort of got used to the xbox now and loving it more. Which is a shame but Sony don't get what makes online gaming
