Well when you get them you will be like omg ****ing rip of but then you will get into them start understanding how good they are i currently have lent them to a friend am playing through speakers and its so hard lol.
Do you play clan matches often? if you want them to play multilayer i would say theres no point.

not really i dont play pubs or clan matches they are also good for music movies and tv and i know at least x1 doubles as a computer headset and x4 has bass and 5.1 surround sound here is the link the their website You must login or register to view this content.

i have a turtle beach p21 for my ps3 and i must say it is truly great. it allows me to hear footsteps loudly and other things like player voices that before i couldnt even hear on my 5.1 surround system! it also allows me to play late at night because i share a wall with my parents 
but anyway you should definitely go for one, the chat quality is also really top notch and you wont regret it.
