We actually don't know why they did away with this plan and Microsoft didn't even announce that they where getting rid of it. It was actually quite a shock to some people. I just wanted to let you all know in case you where wondering where it went.

Wonder why this was removed thinking low sales but could be a refocus away from family side of gaming.
Hoping a discount program takes it place for families with a lot of xbox's

I doubt it was do to low sales. I heard from an agent they wanted to make their subscriptions more simple to their customers, but I think Microsoft got rid of it because it's going to effect their plans they have in mind for the NextGen console. That's the ONLY thing I could think of. I can't wait for E3, because they always announce it at E3.

I don't see why they did this unless sales were down?

Like I said. I doubt it was do to sales, because a LOT of people and I mean a LOT of people are complaining about it. Just go look at the Xbox Support Forums. lol

Why would that matter? As long as they payed for it and that doesn't even violate the ToU.

It was a great feature & good price, Sad they took this away.
