While Microsoft was pulling off its 180 on their policies, they announced that every Xbox One will have a developer's kit. Essentially, opening up the doors for hundreds of thousands of developers, upcoming developers and potential game makers to access the console's full potential. Microsoft stated that this feature would be available later on in the year but one savvy Redditor couldn't wait.

All you have to do head over to the settings menu and press LB, RB, Left Trigger and Right Trigger in that order. You should see the option below pop up on the right side of the screen.

Now, at this point you're treading on thin ice. One wrong move and your Xbox can get bricked. While tinkering around – carefully, you'll see the below menu.

I don't know how fully functional it is but Kotaku reached out to Microsoft for an official statement.

"Changing the settings in this menu is only intended for developers for Xbox One, and this alone does not turn the console into a development kit. We strongly advise consumers against changing these settings as it could result in their Xbox One becoming unusable. Customers who have put their consoles into this developer setting can revert by restoring factory defaults under Settings / System, select Restore Factory Defaults."

This is not functional at all when you check enable Dev Kit it says you are not allowed.

You can change the Sandbox id however you could brick your box.
