(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When I first purchased my Xbox One with the 500 GB HDD I thought that's enough storage to last me a (console) lifetime. I went to delete the Titanfall beta and noticed that my 500 GB HDD is almost 37% used. I only have three games!

Crazy! Anyway, searching around for this I found a link to an article about both the PS4 & Xbox One HDD spacing shrinking fast (see below). I think it's lame for the Xbox to required to the physical media (the disc) to be installed on the HDD. What are you thoughts?

The ps4 has like a 100gbs used when you first get it. Really annoying.

Yeah I don't see why the Xbox one requires you to install your copies of games. It's going to make it hard for people when a lot of games start coming out. Considering that Xbox one does not have a removable hard drive I can see this being a huge issue down the road I don't think they really thought through very well at all.

In Flames Much?
Had to keep the price point down, E3 I hope we see bigger HDD models.
I never used that much HDD space on the PS3 even when having a 40Gb model. To be fair I did not download that many titles during that period.

I agree Vince. It seems pointless if you have the physical disc! Hopefully that will change with future updates.

The reason for installing it is for faster reading so the disk drive isn't constant working also hdd is faster read and write then disk so it makes for more render speed. Caching essentially
