Jeremy:
Tell me a little bit about yourself?
XpozeYT: I am a 21 year old gamer, I have been gaming since I was 5 years old. I have been competing in Call of Duty for the past 6 years. I love sports I am a huge football fan, Minnesota Vikings are my favorite team. I like to go out and hang out with my friends, go and do whatever that consists of. I live in New York and drive a 2002 Honda Accord.

Jeremy: How did you become a pro gamer?
XpozeYT: About 5 or 6 years ago, around COD4, I competed in a MLG circuit, and it was the very first one I competed in, and I placed 5th. In order to become a pro in MLG’s eyes, and be known as an MLG pro gamer, you have to place at least 8th once or top 16th twice and all throughout COD4 I placed in the top 8, and I continued most of that success in MW2, so that’s how I became a pro gamer.

Jeremy: When did you start playing Call of Duty?
XpozeYT: Probably 6 years is when I started competing, and probably about 7 or 8 years ago when Call of Duty 2 was out is when I started really playing competitively, that was more of a casual stand point. Once Call of Duty 4 came out, that is when I really started to compete in Call of Duty.

Jeremy: What has been your favorite Call of Duty game and why?
XpozeYT: I would definitely say Call of Duty 4 because they are the most competitive out of all the games. And for me Call of Duty wasn’t just the fact of playing it and just enjoying it, I played it because I was good at it, and I could compete at a high level. And for me Call of Duty 4 was one of the games with the most competition and honestly was one of the best competitive Call of Duty’s to date. But with everything Activision’s doing in this game and Treyarch’s doing in this game, I really do enjoy this Call of Duty from the competitive stand point, and I would have to say Black Ops 2 is a close number 2.

Jeremy: What other games do you enjoy playing and why?
XpozeYT: The other games I like to play are DayZ. For those of you that don’t know, it’s very similar to The Walking Dead, it’s the exact same thing, just the game version of it. You have to survive zombies; you have to survive other players, from killing you and taking all your stuff. There are cars, helicopters, tons of weapons, zombies everywhere, and you can either be friendly with other people like I said, or they can kill you and take all your stuff. It’s a MML, Mass Multiplayer, It’s a fun game. I love watching StarCraft 2, but I am not very good at it, but I do play it. I like all the Halo’s and I love Madden. Madden is a huge game for me.

Jeremy: Are there any pro players that you look up to or admire right now?
XpozeYT: I wouldn’t say there’s any pro player’s I look up to or admire right now, but there are many players that I do respect, and I am a fan of. For instance Rambo, Ix, Fatalize, Foreplay, these are all people that I know that are really good at the game, and people that I have compete with in the past and people that I have followed throughout the years just because they are former teammates, and they’ve always been friends. I respect them both in- game, when I play against them and out of game like on Twitter or Skype. I would say I am a fan of all these players. I’m not a fan like I am cheering for them but, when I am not competing against them I am rooting for them, but once I’m competing against them it’s me. I want me to win, not them. So yeah, I’m a fan of those players.

Jeremy: How have you placed in the tournaments that you have competed in?
XpozeYT: I placed well; I placed well in a lot of tournaments. There are some tournaments I wish I could change the outcome of but, like I said, all throughout Call of Duty 4, I placed in the top 8 in almost every tournament I played in. Modern Warfare 2 was almost the same thing aside from one or two tournaments. Black Ops 1 I didn’t really play much of, I can’t lie. Modern Warfare 3 I placed well in the few tournaments that there was that I actually competed in and Black Ops 2 the only tournament I competed in I placed 6th. I would like to change some of those outcomes and make 6th into the 2nd or 1st, but as of right now I am pretty happy with my placing’s, and there’s too many tournaments to go to, to be going to every single one of them. So yeah, I have placed well in most of the tournaments that I have played in.

Jeremy: What do you love and hate about Call of Duty: Black Ops 2?
XpozeYT: I would definitely say I hate the camo glitch, for those of you who don’t know, I’m not going to get into it, just go onto YouTube or Google and type it in and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. And I also hate how on online connection based it is, if you’re a host, you automatically have the advantage, which it should be, but it seems like an unfair advantage, it seems like it’s too good. And the lag comp, that’s where people with not as good connections are boosted up to like everyone else’s connection. I think that’s a little unbalanced, as far as how they did it; the idea is definitely good, but I don’t think it’s balanced. What I love about it is it’s a fun game to play, between public match, zombies, I love zombies, you can’t go wrong with zombies, and just other things as far as how Treyarch has put all this work into competitive play and how they’re bringing out new guns into it. They’ve always brought new maps whether its zombies, or whatever, but the fact that they’re bringing new guns into it is really cool and I can’t wait to continue to play this with the new map packs.

Jeremy: What do you think about the support the competitive community has been getting from Treyarch?
XpozeYT: I think it’s fantastic. For Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 we had to beg, and beg, and beg for just a LAN system (Local Area Network), that’s where I can hook up my Xbox to my buddies Xbox, and play like that or play at my house, and not have to be online to do that. We strove for that for like 2 game periods at least, and then World at War came out, and not many people played that, well I don’t want to say not many people, but I didn’t play that. I guess you could say that not many people played it for competitive. And then Modern Warfare 3 came out, and it didn’t come out so I was baffled by it, and then eventually they finally put a LAN patch, so they fact that we had a LAN patch from the start, we have tournaments like the Ki Championship for 1 million dollars. The fact that they’re taking our advice to making this game as competitive as possible, and that’s amazing, you really can’t ask for more than that.

Jeremy: What is your favorite gun in Black Ops 2?
XpozeYT: I would have to say, I am not going to go with the FAL just because it is a little over powered, but my ultimate favorite gun is probably the PDW, if not the PDW then the AN-94. Those are probably my two favorite guns.

Jeremy:
What is your favorite map in Black Ops 2?
XpozeYT: That’s a good one man, I really like Yemen, I like Raid as well but I would have to say Yemen is probably my ultimate favorite map or Plaza; I hated Plaza at the start, but I like it more now.

Jeremy: How has pursuing a professional career in gaming affected your life?
XpozeYT: It’s affected it a lot, one you get all your friends, once they find out you’re a professional gamer, you get some of them who say “you’re a fucking nerd” blah blah blah, and then you get the other ones who are like “that’s cool man, I wish I got into it”, and honestly its affected my life a lot, but I got a lot of support from my friends. It’s kept me out of trouble. Where I’m from there’s a lot of stuff that goes on on the out-skirts of my city, and even it as far as drugs, and crimes, but I wouldn’t say violent crimes, but there’s a lot of drugs, a lot of partying and a lot of stuff to get yourself into trouble and get yourself going down the wrong path, and I think gaming was my way of protecting myself from getting into some of that stuff, because I have a very different personality to begin with so if I ever got my hands on any of that and made a bad decision, who knows what would of happened. So I would it’s definitely a positive outcome on my life because I know a lot of people who do it.

Jeremy: What do you think about next-gen consoles?
XpozeYT: Honestly, I don’t really think much about it. I’m not one to look towards future gaming; I’m more along the lines of thinking about what’s now. Xbox 360 is what’s on my mind and so is Call of Duty and competing. I’m not sure what’s going to happen as far as my gaming career after the release, so I have been keeping it on the DL, so I guess I’m excited, but I don’t even know what the next Xbox is going to be called, but I would say 720. I’m kind of excited for it, but I’m focused on the Xbox 360 right now.

Jeremy: What's your daily routine?
XpozeYT: My daily routine changes from time to time, before I even hop in shower I go and have a bowl of cereal, and I have either Lucky Charms or something like Coco Puffs, then I get in the shower, get out, brush my teeth, get dressed, get ready for work 90% or I’ll render a video for my YouTube channel and get that all settled for later on down the road and I’ll get ready for work and then upload the video while I’m at work, come home, play some video games, live stream, and go to bed, and then do it all over again.

XpozeYT: I do want to say thank you to you guys for watching this video, a lot of you guys didn’t have to do it, but for everyone who is watching this video, make sure you check out NextGenUpdate.com, I know a couple guys from over there and I really hope you guys do give it a look. I know they’re trying to get into the competitive scene, and I’m really appreciative for that so anyone who does try to go from the casual stand point into the competitive standpoint definitely gets my support and anything they really want from me. So thanks for watching guys and feel free to share this video and toss a like down low. I appreciate it. Peace.
