Any tips? Used sony vegas to render and capture software from the hdpvr

What do you do from start to finish?

i record with happauge capture which came with the hdpvr game eddition, and use some good render settings for sony vegas that i found on youtube. and add the sharpen and levels affect in sony vegas. That is all, and its okay quality but i dare say i can get a lot better.
