New leak reveals the lead, the villains and a late 2027 window

Ubisoft still hasn't officially revealed it, but a new casting call leak has filled in a lot about Hexe. It's set in 16th century Germany during the witch hunts, and the lead is reportedly Anika Adler, a woman in her mid twenties accused of witchcraft.

Her mum is a midwife and healer tied to the Auditore bloodline, and her dad is the town executioner. The bad guys are the Order of the Lamb, which is reportedly a front for a local Templar cell.

It's said to be darker and more linear than the big RPG entries, closer to Mirage. Don't expect it soon though. Current word is no earlier than the second half of 2027, and the game has already lost its creative director and game director this year.
