E3 releases a real life Pip-Boy at the E3 game reveal

Ever catch yourself wondering about what it would be like to own your very own Pip-Boy while playing Fallout? Well, there is some good news for you! Bethesda is bringing the iconic Pip-Boy to life by releasing a real-life version of the post-apocalyptic smart device that works with iPhones. Yes, that is right Android users, only iPhone is supported as of now. The physical version of the Pip-Boy will be included with a special edition of Fallout 4, all you have to do is slide your iDevice right in. To go with it, Bethesda has created a custom app that functions as a second-screen experience. The Fallout 4 companion app will be available to download to everyone on iOS and Android. It will communicate with Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will be available alongside the game.

As for the actual in-game Pip-Boy, Bethesda has taken the time to redesign the the user-interface of the gadget in game. During the Fallout 4 demo at its press conference, the little on-screen Vault Boy is shown animating as the player navigates around the device. To make it more entertaining, you can find various mini-games in the world to play. During the demo, Bethesda had shown one that looks to be inspired by Nintendo's arcade classic Donkey Kong, and another that resembles Missile Command.

As previously indicated, Fallout 4 will take place in Boston. For those of you who missed the E3 reveal of Fallout 4, check out the trailer below!

Fallout is probably the only well-known game I've known of but never got to play it. I believe it's about this nuclear fallout and you're the only one alive or something? Either way, sounds interesting, hopefully, a new one comes around so I could buy it.
