Also I don't know what to buy if I want to jtag a console. I looked on YouTube and stuff like that but for me I think trusting a video is a little too risky. So I would like to know what to buy and tips on how to solder better and taking apart a console. (BTW I have only soldered once before so I am really bad)

First and foremost, welcome to NGU, secondly with the Xbox, they do have some easy soldering boards for newbies that have never done soldering before. QSB stands for "Quick Solder Board" which means that you don't need a bunch of wires soldered to your Xbox's motherboard, just a few dabs of solder to hold it in place and run the needed exploits. In the main section we have a stickied thread that goes over a lot of great information on JTAG and RGH, RTJAG and pretty much everything else you need to know with modding Xbox.

I would highly recommend looking there first. I'm one of the sectional mods here if you've not noticed that yet, I try to keep up with everybody to help them as much as I can, but sometimes people slip through the cracks and it takes me a minute to get back to them.
