out of interest what is cut the rope like?

It's really fun. It's a puzzle game where you have to get the piece of candy to the little critter. You can try to collect the three stars at the same time by hitting the stars with the piece of candy. The candy is tied to a rope or multiple ropes, and you have to figure out how to cut the ropes to get all the stars and get the candy to the critter. There's much more to it, like sliding ropes and bubbles that affect how you cut the ropes.

how do you cut the rope though?

You just swipe your finger across the rope.

oh is addictive like doodle jump and so on?

Yes it's very addicting, but some of the levels can be really challenging. Fortunately there is a lot of levels.
