The 2 channel's at the top are rare because there aren't many old YouTube accounts anymore as about 70% are banned.
jr7d's rare because it was a VERY well known channel when channel surfing was around. It's subscribed to over 500+ channels (OG channels that are now banned.) It's one of the only accounts that isn't banned that done channel surfing to.

On the original YouTube layout, you'd go and sub to ever non-active account there was. 3 letters usually. So you'd be in the top 14 subscribe box. It's impossibly to do now due to all rare accounts being banned.

I have a YouTube that I made in 2005 - 2006, it has about 1K subs and around 3 million video views, does that mean mine is rare too? (I don't know much about that side of YouTube)

The account was inactive, I hacked it 2 years ago or something.
