1. if you hold down the power button and the button on the front for 15 seconds it will emergancy shutdown your ipod say if your ipod has completely frozen it willshut it down.

2. also if you hold down the same two buttons for 15 seconds the let go of your front button for 5 seconds it will reset you ipod to scratch.

i just found this will trying to shutdown my ipod as it had frozen.

useful tips incase of emergencies, i'll take note of these.

actually neither of those are correct holding them both down will just restart ur pod and not give you any message and if u release home after 8 secs you will need to onnect to itunes to restore so dont try this

yeh like i said to shutdown and restart ur ipod if frozen and how to reset ur ipod.
