ok you just go to this site---> You must login or register to view this content. and download the ipod touch 2g 3.1.2 firmware. EVEN IF YOU HA A 3G. Then go into itunes and find where it says restore and update. Now you hold the shift button on your keyboard and press restore. A box pop up and then you need to find your 3.1.2 firmware you just downloaded. Let it restore and all and when its done it should be on 3.1.2 to make sure just go to settings and then general or use itunes to see. Now thats its on 3.1.2 jailbreak your ipod via blackra1n---> You must login or register to view this content. ... No need to give me your vbux just if helped just rep. Also is there a way we could bargain so i can become premium?

what version of itunes are you using?
im using itunes 9 i think it said it in about itunes. But it always wants me to update it but i dont!

If you accidentally update to 3.1.3, you can downgrade, You must login or register to view this content. Pick your ipod + the 3.1.2 firmware. Then put your iPod into recovery mode (See google) then when you plug it into itunes, hold shift and click restore and a file search comes up, select the firmware you downloaded it and it will downgrade

yeah that still didnt work. is there anyway i can delete the 3.1.3 firmware from my itunes library so it only recognizes having 3.1.2 or is there anywhere i can DL itunes with 3.1.2 only on it?
