(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This might work..if it doesnt please tell me...

OPTION 1:

Turn off the phone completly...wait 5 sec..

1) press the home botton(the main botton at the bottom of the iPhone)

2) While your finger is still pressed on the home botton, connect the UsB to the iPhone (other end should be connected to the PC).

3) You should hear a sound..that means it is connected in Recovery mode

OPTION 2:

Put iPhone in DFU Mode

Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.

Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.

Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.

Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.

Alternative Method:

Step 1. Connect iphone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect.

Step 2. Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button.

Step 3. Wait until you hear another sound then release home button.

_________________________________________________________

Now a message should pop up say something like "iPhone found in recovery mode".

Now download the firmware(fw) you have on the iPhone. (i recommend 3.1.2).

*if fw 3.1.2 does not work then you might have selected the wrong fw OR you have the fw 3.1.3 installed on it.

3)To download fw go to You must login or register to view this content.

4)Once fw is downloaded,

ON A PC press Shift+'Restore'
(on iTunes)
and On a Mac press 'option'+'restore'

A window should pop up

5)Now select the fw which you downloaded

ONCE restored..

You should have a iPhone which has no passcode but is still unActivated.

6)To activate: youtube somthing like---> How to activate iPhone 3G fw 3.1.2.

*replace the blue words with the the type of iPhone you have and the blue numbers to the kind of fw you have

LOL this might be confusing but i hope this helped..if im missing anything plz tell me

The thing is that you lose everything on the iPod if you restore it. So it's just good if you can't unlock it or if your going to steal it. *cough LowKey cough*
