Callsign Unlocks
MW2 Guide helps you when you're gaming with a complete list of all challenge unlocks for your callsign. Both the title images and the emblems are listed in a smooth scrolling list of items and with one click of your finger it'll take you one level deeper, showing exactly what challenge you will need to complete before unlocking that title or emblem. It also shows you what else will be unlocked with that particular challenge. Once you have completed this challenge, one flick of your finger will send that callsign title or emblem to the "unlocked" list and removes it from the "locked" list. This way you will always be up-to-date with your list. Side note, don't forget to check out our very own MW2 Callsign Generator » too! Another really great feature is that you can set your current Rank and Prestige in the settings. This will auto-unlock all Rank-based title images and emblems for you so that you don't have to go through them manually.
So you wondering how people got the cow abducted by an UFO emblem, this is your chance to easily find out how to get it without the need of running to a computer. See example image »
Guns
Let's face it, we like weapons even more than callsigns; as unlocking weapons will actually give you something better to shoot with. Well, this option might even be cooler than the Callsign Unlocks option we just discussed, so you're golden. It's so very complete, good looking and smooth working which is unprecedented in any other MW2 application. First you select the class, just like you're used to in MW2; Primary weapons (assault, sub machine, sniper, etc), Secondary weapons (shotguns, handguns, etc) or Equipment. Within these classes, there is an amazing amount of information available for each weapon. Just by clicking on it you will be screen that shows a damage chart and other vital information like an image of ADS (Aiming Down Sight) and an image showing the spread of the bullets (clicking them enlarges them to full screen). You can also compare » each weapon to another one in it's own class which can help you a lot when setting up a new custom class.
Each weapon also lists all challenges that are linked to it. Not only does it show what you'll need to do to unlock attachments, it will also show you all linked callsign titles and emblems, plus how many XP you will get from completing that challenge.
The Classes screen will let you add your favorite classes into this application. Just like the rest of the application, it's very easy to use and the wizard will take you to the process of setting up a class » very quickly.
A fun feature for when you're not gaming is the "Most Popular" screen. After choosing either the primary/secondary weapons, perks, kill- or deathstreaks it will list all the most popular combinations in a list. When we pulled the information it gave us the following list » of the most popular Secondary Weapons, calculated out of a total of 139,561 classes submitted by users (so we assume it's pretty accurate).
More... MORE!
But that's just the beginning. There are a couple of functions that we need to talk to about too as they are as useful as the ones we just talked about. One of which is the Maps screen; this will show a minimap with icons added for sniper positions and spots where you can expect hight activity which can be extremely useful for newcomers to this game.
The Unlock screen shows exactly what you would expect; it gives you a complete list of each killstreak, perks, achievements and more. The descriptions of each unlock are short but helpful.
And finally there is the Challenges screen; this is one of our favorite options in this application as it not only gives you an easy way to keep track of your own challenges. It not only has the complete list as shown in game but it also lists the hidden challenges that pop up when you're gaming and where you have no idea how you got them (or how to unlock them!). This gives you that little extra that makes the game so much more enjoyable.

Any improvements needed?
Sure, no application is ever finished. Neither is this.
For example the Maps can be updated with more information from flag positions to camping or booster hunting spots. The images used all across the application could be updated to the original ones with transparency to make it blend in better with the rest of the application. Something else that could be added is maybe an guide-like screen that explains how to use the Claymore (for example) the best, things like that. And finally we would love an option to save your settings online which you could link to on websites, create signatures and fun stuff like that.
But that's really just us nitpicking on an application that already has everything you'll probably ever need.
