install it and restart ur phone. look for the app called MyWi and turn on the tethering...ur iphone will now act like a wireless modem
its a battery drainer though. you do not need a 3G network, my iPhone is unlocked and doesnt have the data plan and MyWi works perfectly. BUT!! it will charge you if you dont have a data plan. I learned out the hard way

Does it work like a modem, as in it broadcasts wifi that you can use other devices on, or does it just let it use wifi?

does this also work with ipod touches?

it works as a wifi modem, so you can connect using your lap top or something

It should no problem, if it doesn't than you will just have to change a few things, Pm me if you have any problems I will do it with my itouch later.

Turn on the Tethering and a Blue Bar should be at the top. That shows its working. Mine isn't working right now :/..So I gotta fix it some how

i did that and it still doesnt work did you fix yours? maybe mine has the same problem

Do you have Rock or Cydia? I was using Rock then I typed in MyWi and did the trial version of it, it updated something and it worked. Oh and if you dont have a data plan for the iPhone. Dont use it. I just got a text from AT&T saying I went over $200 in data charges. So look out
