okay so ive had my ipod 2.2.1 2nd gen jailbroken for 8-10 months. ive started to encounter problems with cydia and winterboard...
if u kno whats wrong, plz tell me.....is 2.2.1 too outdated?

2.2.1 is old. 3.1.3 is the lastes firmware released by Apple. I would recommend you to UPGRADE to 2.1.2 (NOT 3.1.3!)

wont let me....only will let me do 3.1.3 ill try to find it again tho
but can 2.2.1 still work?

Download only 3.1.2 and on iTunes hold shift and select it... It should restore to 31.2 - than jailbreak
