guys before using jailbreak "spirit" you need to save your iphone/ipod SHSH file in cydia server and your own PC

first of all you need to download this files

1-ECID.SHSH Restore Server Tool v1.0

NOTE: Decompress the file and put it on your disk-top

2-Get the newest JAVA for your PC

Now put your device in recovery mode

then run ECID Grabber and press Get ECID and copy the long serial number

after this progress run umbrella paste the S/N in the ECID blank box select your device type and firmware version then set the SHSH Repository to Saurik-Cydia then submit

wait until the status change. there will be a file in the ECID.SHSH Restore Server Tool v1.0 file you have decompress before with your own SHSH don't lose it

you can get applications and games for free without buying them from App store

So I take it they released the Spirit jailbreak?

Also, for the Spirit jailbreak, if I already updated my iTunes to 9.1.1 or whatever, do I have to downgrade in order to jailbreak?
