But please don’t get excited as he is not planning to release tools to jailbreak iPhone.

Which is why i take everything i hear about him with a pinch of salt
ever since the claim of the ps3 hack.

And GeoHot actually has found out that we can hack the ps3 full to our liking if we could map out the processor which is accessible.

An University on California made it possible to run Cydia on the iPhone or as know as jail brake. All he did was make it widely open for public. So even with out him, we would still have jail broken iPhone and iPods.
