I need help jailbreaking My iPod Touch 1G over again. All the tutorials I have seen for Jailbreaking have been for 2G or higher.

What firmware are you on? 3.1.2 or 4.0

3.1.2, should i not update to 3.1.3?

blackra1n is all devices (not iPad) on 3.1.2.. Spirit is for all devices on 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 including iPad

Restore your iPod to 3.1.2
Set up as New Device.
Run Blackra1n.

Should work.

Don't update to 4.0 because the jailbreak for that is a little messed up for windows users and has a lot of bugs for some people.

its already 3.1.2 and i already have all the blackrain stuff but its all crashed. so what do ii have to do? how do i set up as a new device?

When you last restored did you restore from backup option or set up as new device?

i havent restored it at all. never.

You gotta restore then.
It will reset all settings etc

what do i do after i restore it?
