First just sync your device.

Go on your iPhone or iTouch and open Safari.

Visit You must login or register to view this content. or You must login or register to view this content.

And slide the slider to jailbreak.

Wait a minute and your device will be jailbroken.


*FOR iPHONE 4, FACETIME and MMS WILL NOT WORK FOR MOST PEOPLE*

*If your JB gets stuck on "Downloading" just restart you device.

Gaia,this jailbreak only works for that update that your friend has. So yes it will work. All you have to do is slide it to jailbreak


Will have to wait for IOS 4.1, jailbreakme guys will not do until this update, do not update your iphone.Is what I have understood,

Someone please message me when this works for 4.0.2, please. I got my iPhone 4 last week only to find jailbreakme to not function on my version.

Downgrade it to 4.0 or 4.0.1 then Jailbreak

you didn't mention how this exploit works or that it can be used to input malicious code.
it's a pdf file exploit.

After you jailbreak, you should download sauriks PDF exploit patch which should be on the main menu of cydia.

If 4.0.2 is the latest version, it won't work on that.

Doesn't work on the latest version iOS. I tried it, said 'Version too new. You need to downgrade to 4.0.1/3.2.1 or earlier (which may be IMPOSSIBLE)'... And, you can't downgrade in iTunes 10...
