I was thinking about setting it up for T-mobile(prepaid), but I wasn't sure of how much I would be charged for using the internet or how much the minutes were. Does anybody know how much these things are?

its free. its called unlocking. you have to jailbreak your iphone then unlock it. there's loads of videos on youtube on how to unlock it. it also depends on what firmware you have. theres loads of programs to unlock it like ultrasnow. jailbreaking and unlocking an iphone 3g is very easy.

I'm aware of unlocking and jailbreaking, I just wanted to know how much it costs to txt and call. However Moiz is saying that you can't use the internet, so I dont think its worth it...

lol you could still use the internet using wifi. what he meant is that you can't get mobile web from t mobile.

I don't want to use the WiFi lol. It would just be an iPod Touch, but it's ok. Imma Just sell one, I guess and keep using my iPhone.
