I jailbroke my iPhone 3Gs on the latest firmwire with limera1n. I did everything right but when i restarted my phone i couldn't turn it back on.
I tried to restore it using DFU mode but i got an error message. Anyone know how to f***** restore my iPhone?

Plug your iPhone into your computer. Hold the "home" button and the "lock' button until your iPhone goes black and the Apple logo appears. Then release them and wait for about 5-15 minutes and your computer will make a sound indicating your iPhone is plugged in. Then the lockscreen will appear & you will possibly be in Safe-Mode - there you will need to restart. Everything will still be there, jailbroken or not.

Just keep trying to update and restore through iTunes. It worked after the 4th time on my 3GS. If that doesn't work, go to an Apple store and get a new phone for free (if it's still under warranty) or call Apple and ask for advanced replacements. If both fail, save some money and get an iPhone 4. It's really easy to jailbreak, no issues as of now after jb/restore 5+ times <--- done it 5 times since I tried apps that weren't compatible with iOS 4.1 and stuff got messed up.

My 3GS crashed the whole time when it was jailbroken. iPhone 4 FTW

I've get different error codes on 5 different pc's.

Hold the home and sleep key at same time.

"Recovery mode loop fixer" might help...it fixes 1015 errors and recovery loops. If this isn't the right version for you i'm pretty sure you can google it. You must login or register to view this content. Just put your phone into DFU mode and run the program and it will take care of the rest =D

happened to me aswell, turn it on, it should show the apple logo..right?
leave it like that for like 10 minutes, and it SHOULD turn on

Do I have to have the USB cable pluged in?
