and when i turn it on it just shows a usb stick and the i tunes logo, i connected it to the computer, but it says the device is corrupt and can't be connected...what do i do?

Try putting it into DFU mode. Hold the power and home button for five seconds then release the power button. Keep holding the home button for 30 seconds then release.

You have to put it in DFU mode and restore it:
Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.

Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.

Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.

Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.

If this not fuction try this:

Step 1. Hold down the power and the home button

Step 2. After (exactly) 10 seconds release the power button but continue holding the home button until you listen a sound in your computer.

Finally Restore It To The Last Version

thank you to both of you, i managed to fix it myself though lol, i just plugged it in, and ran limera1n
