yea. i get the same thing sometimes. i download and install a game and it doesn't appear. so i just say whatever and forget about it

Try uninstalling installous, reboot the iDevice, then re-install installous and then try. If that doesn't work, you'll have to re-jailbreak it, then it should work. If you have the iTouch 1G - Installous will barely work.
