restore & rejailbreak?

I had the same problem recently!
What you need to do:

1. Hold the Home button & the Hold button until you see the Apple Logo again.
2. Plug your iPod into the computer.
3. Wait about 5-10 minutes (don't touch your iPod during this process, just relax and wait) and you'll hear a sound on your computer indicating that your iPod is plugged in. You will also see your iPod's battery appearing on screen.
4. Slide to unlock and your good

PS: I'm not sure about you but when this happened to me, this method worked but when I did the "slide to unlock" they said I was in "safe mode"or something and made me restart my iPod Touch. This is perfectly safe so don't worry if it happens to you!

i tried that but i have a passcode on it so when it hooked up the computer it was froze and i couldnt do anything i figured it out though im just going to restore it while in dfu mode and then re jailbreak thx for the help though

Leave it on and wait.

Use tinyumbrella to kick it out of the bootrom. If not, then u have to restore.

Have you put the passcode it wrong too many times, I spend 6 hours trying to restore a passcode locked iTouch 2g last Friday night which had the exact same symptoms. Managed it in the end but it was bitch as you can't restore through Itunes if its passcode locked
