Files Needed:
Download PwnageTool 4.1.3 unlock from You must login or register to view this content..
Download iPhone 3G OR iPhone 3Gs fw 4.2.1(according to your iPhone): You must login or register to view this content.
Download iPad fw 3.2.2: You must login or register to view this content.

Once you have downloaded all the files that are needed and you have copied them to your desktop. You are good to go!

1) Start PwnageTool, select 'Expert Mode', Select iPhone 3GS / 3G and browse for the original iOS 4.2.1 firmware you downloaded.

You'll now be asked if you want to update your baseband to the 06.15 version. If you are on BB 05.14 or higher you will need to do this to step.

2) Click on YES and then select Browse for IPSW and select the iPad fw 3.2.2 you downloaded.

3) You'll have to choose some options now, tweak the options to your liking and finally, hit the blue the build button.

You will now be asked to save the custom firmware. Please wait 7-10 min.

4)It will now ask you if your iPhone has been Pwned before, just click No.

Now follow the instructions on how to put your iPhone into DFU mode. Once in DFU mode you will have to restore your iPhone with the custom firmware you made.
To do that simply, click on the iPhone icon on the left sidebar of iTunes then hold alt(option) button on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” Select the custom firmware created by PwnageTool and let iTunes finish it up.
