Cydia has recently updated for the resent iOS 4.2 jailbreak, and was included in the new tethered redsn0w jailbreak!



Here's a list of just some of the improvements:

-reduced loading changes time
-section remapping optimizations
-faster reloading data
-faster, native search
-uses public SDK classes whenever possible
-rewritten, faster web views with zooming support
-changes badge works again
-more stable webviews (no crashes when queueing)
-redesigned settings page
-redesigned stashing page
-faster scrolling of table views
-bug fixes
-ads no longer break the package views until restart
-much better queueing UI
-stabler refreshing bar

iPad improvements:
- landscape
- popovesr
- modal views that cover only a portion of the screen
- less annoying errors with bad internet connections downloading packages
- updated section mappings, less typo'd sections

To install, you can use the new redsn0w jailbreak, or use a combination of iFile and Safari Download Manager.

Go to You must login or register to view this content. on your iDevice, remember where you downloaded it to, open iFile, navigate to the download area, click the .deb file, and install! Easy as 1, 2, 3.

Good to see that it works for you guys!

If you post, please post your FIRMWARE and what device you have.

Has anyone on iOS 3.x or 3.1.x tried this yet?

i dl it be whenever i go to install something it says it must unistall cydia too along with installing my app wats with this ? pm me if u can help thx
